ORCHIDS

Guatemala, the land of eternal spring, has approximately 1,000 species of orchids. Nearly everybody in Guatemala cultivate orchids in one way or another, either in the garden, at the weekend farm, as a decoration in the home or in a simple greenhouse.

I remember many years ago there were many orchids in my home's garden..... these are pictures of the orchids we used to have at home.

Guatemala is a colorful country in many ways and has enchanted millions of people, particularly the friends of nature. If you like orchids, let me tell you that there is going to be an "Orchid Show" (Salvemos nuestras orquideas) on Feb. 26 to March 1, Cerveceria Centroamericana (Brewery) Zona 2.
